Lifelong Seminole resident, Coy Wynn Sims, passed away, Friday, August 25, 2006 at the age of 60. He was born on July 23, 1946 to Charles Merle and Dorsa Lee (Rose) Sims in Seminole, Oklahoma. rnrnHe married Lynda Kaye (Smith) Sims on June 1, 1968 in Little, Oklahoma. He spent most of his working career as a roustabout in the Seminole Oilfields. He was also a route salesman for Rainbow Bread for 10 years, Mr. Sims was retired at the time of his death. rnrnHe was of the Baptist faith, attended and graduated from Varnum High School and attended Seminole Junior College for two years. rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Lynda Kaye Sims of the home, daughter and son-in-law; Kristin and Michael Haskins of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, two grandchildren; Blake Haskins and Harper Haskins of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, five brothers; Charles Sims and Leland Sims of Seminole, Oklahoma, Harold Sims of Magnolia, Texas, Roy Sims of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Starr Sims of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his mother and father.rnrnPallbearers will be; Buster Pace, Jeff Davis, Steve Sims, Randy Sims, Roy Wynn Sims, and Bryan Keisman. rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Church of Christ at Little with Don Ramsey officiating.
