Connor Everett Turner

Connor Everett Turner,16 year old Seminole resident died Sunday, April 17, 2016 while on his way to worship at Bowlegs Assembly of God, where he was a faithful member. Connor was a sophomore at Bowlegs High School. Connor was lovingly known as "Con Man" to his family. Connor was born February 3, 2000 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He had just turned 16 and began a job working at Sonic Drive-In in Seminole. He enjoyed making his own money to pay for his car and expenses. He had also worked with his uncle in a lawn mowing service during the past few summers. Connor attended school all his life at Bowlegs Public Schools. He was a good student and loved to play football and basketball. He was involved in FFA, Band, Weightlifting, working out and he loved playing video games and his X Box. He loved his church and enjoyed going to church camp and his church youth group. Connor is survived by his mother, Beth Carter of Seminole, Oklahoma, his grandmother Deloris Earnest of Seminole, Oklahoma, who he felt it was his sworn duty to protect, grandmother Evelyn Turner of Illinois, two brothers Brett Houck and Cameron Turner both of Seminole, Oklahoma, two nieces Cara and Aubree whom he loved very much and his aunts and uncles Cindy and Gary Fleming and Joyce and Mike Goodman. A Memorial Service celebrating Connor’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Bowlegs Assembly of God Church with Pastor Roy Robertson officiating.
