Con Ural Short

Con Ural Short passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, in Warner, OK.

Con was born January 3rd, 1951, in Seminole, OK. to Owen and Winnie Short.  He went to school in Bowlegs, Oklahoma.  Con married Linda Nevels Short and had two children Malinda Huddleston and James Short.  He lived in Cromwell, Oklahoma and spent most of his life in the Seminole and Wewoka area, along with some time in Texas.  Con worked in the oilfield, he was a tool pusher and driller most of his life.

He enjoyed going fishing, noodling and hunting, picking berries, riding horses and messing with cows, he loved to drink beer and he enjoyed being with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters and five brothers.

Con is survived by one sister, Jean Nielsen of Byng, one brother Charles Short of Anson, Texas, and 17 grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2:00 at Wolf Cemetery in Wolf.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
