Clevia Hughey

Former Seminole resident Clevia Hughey passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Integris Seminole Medical Center at the age of 80. rnrnClevia was born on March 14, 1928 in Lyman, South Carolina to William and Lillie (Hammond) Campbell. She married W. Glen Hughey on May 31, 1947 in South Carolina. She attended Cumberland University and Furman University where she received her education in teaching. She taught Middle School in Anderson, South Carolina. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole. rnrnShe is survived by her husband Glen Hughey of the home in Prague,Oklahoma, son and daughter-in-law: Walter and Lyn Hughey of Prague, Oklahoma, and two daughters and sons-in-law: Adria and J.R. Bumpous of Houston, Texas and Linda and Mark Key of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents.rnrnA memorial services is scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole with Dr. Tommy Clark officiating. rnrnIn lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 420 Reid Street, Seminole, Oklahoma 74868 in Clevia's memory. rnrn Funeral Information: December 29, 2008, 12:00 AM
