Cleta Mae Dobbs, 74, longtime Seminole resident, passed away, Friday, March 24, 2017, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Cleta was born August 2, 1942 in Tollison, Arizona to Arthur Coots Mulkey and Thelma (Lee) Mulkey. She moved to Seminole as an infant with her family and lived in Seminole for over 40 years. She married Bill Dobbs, on January 11, 1984, in Bowlegs, Oklahoma; they moved from Seminole and returned to retire in 2006. Cleta spent her working career in retail sales and was a cashier at Safeway in Seminole for 11 years. She loved to collect antiques and work puzzles. She enjoyed playing with her dogs and cats. Cleta is survived by her husband, Bill Dobbs, of the home, two sons; Darren Goss of New Hampshire and step son Gregg Dobbs of Mustang, Oklahoma, two daughters, Arlene Lee of White Bluff, Tennessee and step daughter Shannon Hill of Erick, Oklahoma, two brothers, Kenneth Mulkey of Clarksville, Tennessee and Marion Palmore of Bandera, Texas and two sisters Mary Aguilar of Texas and Betty Bowman and her husband Chuck of Oklahoma, her niece Becky Bowman, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jim Smith and Neal Southern. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Community of Christ Church in Seminole, Oklahoma, located across from Seminole State College on highway # 3.
