Clarence Wayne Carpitcher

Clarence Wayne Carpitcher, 54 year old Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.  He was born June 28, 1963 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Andrew Carpitcher and Imogene (Hill) Carpitcher. Clarence was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (the Tallahassee Band).  He worked as a handyman doing various jobs until he became disabled. Clarence was currently a member of Hilltop Indian Presbyterian Church and had attended Rock Springs Indian Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Survivors include his mother, Imogene (Hill) Carpitcher of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four children, Lawrence Wayne Carpitcher of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Gerald, Natasha and Ashley; one brother, Ronnie Carpitcher and his wife Helena of Hollywood, Florida; two sisters, Wynona Sue West of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Rose Ann Carpitcher of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Wayne Carpitcher. Clarence will be taken to Rock Springs Indian Baptist Church in Sasakwa at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2018 for a wake service that will be held that evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018 at Rock Springs Indian Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma with Mickey Hill and Charles West officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Rock Springs Church Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
