"Lynn" Patterson, longtime Konawa resident, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at his residence in Konawa at the age of 71.rnrnLynn was born March 14, 1936 in Corn, OK to Lois A. and Lela F. (Bottom) Patterson.rnrnHe attended East Central University in Ada.rnrnLynn married Betty Lou (Glover) on August 12, 1961 in Konawa.rnrnHe worked for O G & E Power Plant in Konawa and retired from there in 1994.rnrnHe was a member of the Konawa Assembly of God Church. rnrnLynn is survived by his wife Betty L. (Glover) Patterson of the home; rnrnone daughter & son-in-law, Sherita & Don Robertson of Moore, OK;rn rnone son & daughter-in-law, Deriek & Angel Patterson of Seminole; rnrnone sister & brother-in-law, Karen & Eugene O'Dell of Asher, OK;rnrnfive grandchildren, Riley and Madison Robertson, Carter, Cooper and Ava Patterson.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents. rnrnFuneral services will be on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Konawa Assembly of God Church with Rev. Steve Lowrance officiating.rnrnInterment will be at Vista Cemetery, West of Konawa.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
