Christy Ann Stone

Christy Ann Stone, 35 year old, lifelong Seminole County, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born December 11, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents, Leah Ann (Larney) Stone and Michael Stone. Christy graduated from Sasakwa High School in 2000, she then went on attend college before working as a Teacher’s Aide at the Seminole Nation Head Start program. Christy was a member of Hitchitee Indian Methodist Church.  She was also a proud member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She is survived by the mother who raised her, Mary Larney of Konawa, Oklahoma; three sons, Hunter Robledo of the home, Vicente Robledo of the home, Joseph Robledo Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma; one daughter, Sylvia Robledo of Maud, Oklahoma; 6 brothers, Joseph Stone of Springfield, Missouri, Matthew Stone of Springfield, Missouri, Michael Stone of Springfield, Missouri, Andrew Stone of Springfield, Missouri, William Hill of Owasso, Oklahoma, Solomon Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Pattis Larney of Shawnee, Oklahoma; the father of her children, Joseph Robledo, Sr. of Maud, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren;  her biological father, Michael Stone of Seminole, Oklahoma; Paternal grandmother, Alice Minor of Seminole,Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Christy is preceded in death by her biological mother, Leah Ann (Larney) Stone; by her maternal grandparents, Alex Larney and Valerene Lasley Larney; and by one sister, LaDenna Tiger. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery on the hill, by Achena Presbyterian Church. A wake service will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Casket Bearers will be: Joseph Robledo, William Hill, James Turnbow, Marshall Turnbow, Joseph Davis, and Brian Akerman. Honorary Bearers will be: Cecelia Akerman, Diane Nero, Chastity Davis, Dorothy Williams, Judy Shaw, Pauline Counts, Ann Hickey, Evonne Berryhill, Linda Davis, Glenna Allison, and Ruth Bondoni.
