Charlotte Sue (Detrick) Stevens, age 64 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away from this life Thursday morning, March 31, 2016 at Purcell Municipal Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. Louis Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Audie Swinney will officiate and burial will follow at Avoca Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Pitchford, Tanner Pitchford, Chris Berry, Claude Hale, Cody Hale, and Dustin Holdge. Tommy Campbell is an honorary pallbearer. Charlotte was born June 8, 1951 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jessie Elmer Detrick and Melvina (Abney) Detrick. She graduated from Tecumseh High School and married Loran “Stanley” Stevens June 8, 1973 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. She loved playing with her grand-babies, going to garage sales, fishing and camping. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Stevens of the home; one son, Nathan Stevens and wife, Ashley of Asher, Oklahoma; two sisters, Sherry Campbell and husband, Tommy of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, and Linda Martin of Denison, Texas; four grandchildren, Holly, Michelle, Braidon, and Jason Stevens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Melvina Detrick; one brother, J.D. Detrick; and three sisters, Anna Mae Rushing, Phylis Jean Detrick, and Sharon Detrick.
