Charlotte Ann (Crothers) Bottom

Charlotte Ann (Crothers) Bottom , age 75 and a long-time resident of Macomb, Oklahoma, passed away July 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Asher, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.       Donnie Gee will officiate, and burial will follow at Vista Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Mark Wartchow, Chad Wartchow, C.J. Sisco, Sean Fleming, Andy Fleming, Gregory Crothers, and Bobby Heath Crothers.  Honorary bearers are Robert L. Crothers, Jr., Lynn Crothers, Steve Miles, Ronnie Wartchow, Randy Mullinax, and Richard Sisco.  The family will receive guests at the funeral home 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Charlotte was born March 10, 1948 in Danville, Illinois to Robert L. Crothers and Zelma A. (Cook) Crothers.  She graduated from Shawnee High School, and she married Eddie Wayne Bottom December 16, 1966 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Charlotte was a member of Northridge Church of Christ of Shawnee.  She was a loving mother, Nana, and Great Nana who loved to read books, and who was a wonderful cook and homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Eddie Wayne Bottom, Jr. and wife, Kristin of Asher, Oklahoma; two daughters, Melanie Keck-Rush and husband, Steven of Madill, Oklahoma, and Steffanie Fleming and husband, Daniel of Asher, Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert L. Crothers, Jr. of Oklahoma City, and Lynn A. Crothers of Shawnee; one sister, Judy Mullinax and husband, Randy of Shawnee; six grandchildren, Andy Fleming, Sean Fleming, Shelby Humphrey, Sarah Fleming, Chelsy Smith, and Braxten Bottom; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie W. Bottom on May 22, 2023; her parents, Robert and Zelma Crothers; and two brothers, Jeffery and Gregory Crothers.
