Charlie Williams,81 Charlie Williams, lifelong Seminole county resident passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the age of 81. Charlie was born August 27, 1929 at Maud, Oklahoma to parents, Joney Williams and Ellen Chupcogee Williams. Charlie was a member of the Achena Presbyterian Church and he retired as a ranch hand working for Emral Guinn. Charlie is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joney and Ellen, nine sisters and six brothers. Charlie was the last surviving child of Joney and Ellen and he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Funeral service for Charlie will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole, Oklahoma, at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 with Rev. Houston Tiger and Rev. Danny Daniels officiating. Burial will take place at the Williams Family Cemetery, Maud, Oklahoma. Charlie will be move to his home, 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011 for a wake service that evening. Casket bearers are Tony Berryhill, Chad Huckleberry, Art Cline, Levi Harjo, James Turnbow and Marshall Turnbow.
