Charles Robert Goodrich, known to all as “Charlie”, age sixty-eight and a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at his home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1st at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery. Rev. Drew Isaacs, Pastor of Grace Community Church will officiate. Pallbearers are Brian Goodrich, Travis Goodrich, Cody Goodrich, Frank Goodrich, Kevin Goodrich, and Freddy Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers are Seth States, Bruce Marshall, Mark Willoughby, Mark Porter, Frank Wilson, John Caro, Troy Willoughby, and Eck Goodrich. Charlie was born on October 18, 1943 in the riverbend of Konawa to Frank Goodrich and Freida Rebecca (Pairet) Goodrich. After graduating from Konawa High School, Charlie was self-employed in the oil industry and became a Christian in 1960. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by two sons, Brian and wife, Donna Goodrich of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, and Travis and wife, Christie Goodrich of Oklahoma City; one brother, Eck and wife, Gloria Goodrich of Konawa; and life-long friend, Pearl Willoughby of Galey, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Cody Goodrich, Seth States, Regan Goodrich, Ty Goodrich, Alyssa Goodrich, Dylan Black, and Jaiden Black. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Freida Goodrich; one son, Keith Allen Goodrich; three brothers, Ralph, Jack, and Larkin Goodrich; and three sisters, Ada Marvilli, Wanda Williams, and Mary Clark.
