Charles F. Pemberton, 86 Charles F. Pemberton, Seminole Oklahoma resident passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the age of 86. Charles was born August 17, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents, John Harvey Pemberton and Ruth (Dean) Pemberton Allen. Charles graduated from Overton High School in Overton, Texas in 1947. He was raised in East Texas and moved to Seminole 14 years ago. Charles was a member of the Church of Christ and employed in the oilfield industry as a supervisor for Baker Hughes Tools. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War; he was stationed in Germany for 17 months. Charles is survived by his nieces and nephews; Rick Pemberton of Konawa, Oklahoma, Bill Sparks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bobby Sparks of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Vicki Hamilton of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Gayla Lawson of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Larry Pemberton of Newcastle, Oklahoma and several great nieces and nephews. Special friends, Muriel Pemberton and Lynetta Robins and Family and a host of friends in Texas.   Charles was preceded in death by his father, John Pemberton and mother, Ruth Pemberton Allen; step-father, William Allen; brother, Jim Pemberton and sister, Willetta Sparks. Graveside services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
