Charles William Berglund

Charles William Berglund, age 78 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at his home. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9th at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Sweaingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.  Visitation will be until 4:00 p.m. daily until Friday. Charles was born April 28, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Ella (Milligan) and Herbert Berglund.  He worked as a freight truck driver and was of the Methodist Faith.  Charles loved to tinker with train sets, Volkswagen cars, and Harley Davidson motorbikes. He is survived by four sons, Mike Berglund and wife, Cynthia of Konawa, Craig Berglund and wife, Brenda of Jacksonville, Florida, David Berglund and wife, Dee Dee of Asher, Oklahoma, and Joe Berglund and wife, Saundra of Seminole, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Berglund and Ella Melton.
