Charlene McAnally

Charlene (Deaton) McAnally, 82 Charlene McAnally, a life long Seminole county resident passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Charlene was born May 17, 1929 at Howe, Oklahoma to parents, Charley Walter Deaton and Zella (Armstrong) Deaton. She graduated from Howe High School in 1948 Charlene married Charley “C.N.” Nathan McAnally September 18, 1954. “C.N.” passed away January 9, 1975. Charlene was of the Baptist faith. Charlene is survived by two sons; Michael McAnally and his wife Nancy of Greenville, South Caroline and Mark McAnally of Bowlegs, Oklahoma.  Also surviving Charlene are two sisters Jo Sue Evans and Nan Dickerson both of Poteau, Oklahoma. She is survived by three grandchildren, Charles Michael McAnally, Katie McAnally and Maranda McAnally. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband; “C.N.”, two brothers; Don Deaton, Charley Deaton, Jr. and one sister, Doris Moren. Funeral services for Charlene will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Seminole, Oklahoma. Internment taking place at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma. Rev. Bill Chesser will officiate.
