Cathy Marie Morgan

Cathy Marie Morgan, 59, Shawnee, Oklahoma resident and former longtime Seminole resident, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Cathy was born February 12, 1958 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Syd and Norita (Whitlow) Morgan. Cathy grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School in 1976. Cathy was a member of the Church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma. Cathy was employed at Finley and Cook Accounting firm in Shawnee, Oklahoma as a Data Entry Clerk. Cathy is survived by her mother and father Syd and Norita Morgan of Seminole, Oklahoma, her brother Alan Morgan of Seminole, Oklahoma, her sister Karen Crowe and her husband Travis Crowe of Meeker, Oklahoma, four nieces, Sara, Rachael, Lauren and Lexi and one nephew Shawn. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Ruby Morgan and Denzil and Lorene Whitlow and an uncle Waylon Whitlow. Funeral services are planned for 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, May17, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma at 12040 Highway 99 North in Seminole. Arpoika Daniels will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers are: Shawn Morgan, Travis Crowe, Jack Mattingly, Mike Vanlandingham, Bob Griggs and Stuart Woodfin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
