Catherine Mason

Catherine Ann Mason, 51 year-old, longtime Seminole County resident passed from this life on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Prague Community Hospital.  She was born June 26, 1962 in Alva, Oklahoma. Catherine was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.  She married John Ray Mason on April 21, 1979 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband, John Mason of the home; one son, Jonathon Mason of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Travis Madron of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Monica and Jacob Harrelson of Chandler, Oklahoma; two brothers, Mike Temple of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Chuck Temple of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five sisters, Cindy Kearns of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Shirley Rowley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sandra Foutch of Wendell, North Carolina, Carol Jo Vance of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Cheyenne Chroup of Grove, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Tawna Madron, Christian Madron, Alexander Madron, Cadence Madron, John Madron, Hannah Harrelson and Saul Harrelson; and a host of other family and dear friends. Catherine was preceded in death by her mother, Ethelda Lou Temple, one sister, Elyssa Monday and by one son, Johnny Ray Mason. Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Bob Rogers will officiate the service.
