Carolyn Houck

Carolyn Sue Houck, 69, Earlsboro, Oklahoma resident died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her home.  She was born June 14, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Desmond Merion and Thelma Pauline (Lee) Ross. Carolyn grew up in Seminole and married David Eugene Houck on December 12, 1976 he preceded her in death on March 27, 2012. Carolyn was a homemaker and loving Mother. Carolyn is survived by three sons; Darin and Kelly Wheeler of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, Merion Wheeler of the home and David Houck, Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma; two daughters LaDonna Wheeler and her husband Stoney Kelough of the home and Sarah White of Norman, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five sisters Joyce Ross, Barbara Orr of Seminole, Oklahoma, Joan Morris of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Patricia Carter of Seminole, Oklahoma and Janis Valarma of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband David, brother Bruce Ross, sister Marion Kay McDaniel, great grandson Justin Netzel and a great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Netzel, preceded Carolyn in death. Graveside services are planned for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Little Cemetery, with Rev. Jimmy Moreland and Anita Moreland officiating. Casket bearers will be Darin Wheeler, Keith Wheeler, Tommy Kean, Cody Hasbell, Ricky Reeves and Danny Lozier. Honorary Bearers will be Merion Wheeler, Ebb Simon and Jimmy Wheeler. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
