Carol Sue (Jackson) Walker, longtime Seminole county resident, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her home; she was 68 years old. Carol was born September 14, 1945 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Willie and Ella Mae (Jackson) Lena. She married Dean Walker on July 7, 1980 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. For many years Carol worked for the Department of Human Services in Wewoka. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Church. Carol is survived by her husband, Dean, of the home; two sons, Keith Ricketts of Seminole, Oklahoma and Jerry “Judge” Ricketts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Lisa Landers of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Carrie “Puddie” Ricketts of Konawa, Oklahoma and Kimberly Richardson of Seminole, Oklahoma; three brothers, Saber Jackson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dale Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Sonny Price of Seminole, Oklahoma; one sister, Elwanda Hollaway of San Antonio, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends. Her parents, two brothers, Gene Jackson and Andrew Jackson and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Patterson, preceded Carol in death. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with burial following at Vamoosa Cemetery. A wake service is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Derrick Phillips will officiate. Pallbearers are Scotty Rich, Kevin Rich, Brandon Ricketts, Zachery Williams, Dustin Phillips and Lane Ricketts. Honorary pallbearers are Jarrod Ricketts, Matthew Pinson, Hunter Brazell and Preston Brazell. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
