Carol Sue Dean of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away tragically in an automobile accident on September 5, 2020 at the age of 49. She was born July 19, 1971 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to parents Clayton Lee Dean and Camille Elizabeth (Oldham) Dean. She spent most of her early childhood in Northern Kansas and attended high school in Southern Kansas and received her GED certificate. She moved to the Shawnee/Seminole area in 1988.
Carol was a medical transcriptionist for over 15 years at St. Anthony’s Hospital and was a homemaker. She loved fishing, old movies, drawing and painting and her dogs. She was an avid dog lover and her dog Sadie was her favorite child. She was very proud of her children and loved her nieces and nephews. She had a great sense of humor and an amazing smile. Her laugh was infectious. She loved getting her hair and nails done. She could “outfish” most men and was not afraid to tell you. She loved music but had no rhythm and couldn’t dance. She loved to play board games. Carol didn’t have much, but she would give someone in need all that she had. Life was hard for Carol but that made her appreciate all that she had.
Carol is survived by her mother; Camille Dean, her son; Tyler Clayton Dean, her daughter; Carley Abbott and her husband Dakota, sisters; Vanessa Marshall and her husband Jon, Anne White, Mary Howerton and her husband Bruce and Ariane Cabral and her husband Jose, grandchildren; Gavin Dean, Caden Abbott, and “one on the way” in December 2020; Dayton Abbott, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Clayton Lee Dean.
