Carl Quase Rhodes

Carl Quase Rhodes, 73, Seminole resident, died Friday, May 15, 2015 in Seminole. Carl was born September 16, 1941 in La Grange, Illinois to Florene Ann (Quase) and Melvin G. Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes moved to Seminole 30 years ago from Phoenix, Arizona. He was retired from the United States Air Force, where he served 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant.  He then worked at Al-KO for 19 years in Seminole. Carl married Sherry Severs Rhodes on August, 7, 1965 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Carl is survived by his wife, Sherry Rhodes of Seminole, Oklahoma; one son, Russell Dow Rhodes and his wife Patty of Santee, California; one daughter, Bobbie Butler and her husband, William of Knoxville, Tennessee; also by two grandchildren, Jacob Russell Quase and Lucas Carl Benjamen, both of San Diego, California. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with military honors by the United States Air Force.
