Carl C. McMillion, age 86, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away May 20, 2020 at his daughter’s home. He was born September 10, 1933 in Delmar, Arkansas to parents William McMillion and Eartha (Howerton) McMillion. He was a high school graduate and received his associate's degree from Seminole State College. Carl served his country in the United States Air Force.
He worked as a fuel inspector at REDCO for 30 years. He also worked as a tractor mechanic at Wilson Equipment.
Carl is survived by his son; Jody McMillion of Seminole, Oklahoma, his daughter; Tina McMillion Bartel of Seminole, Oklahoma, sisters; Delphia Grider of Pampa, Texas and Juanita Henderson of Amarillo, Texas, great-granddaughter; Tamaree Kimmel and step-daughter; Debra O’Connor of Foley, Alabama and his former wife of 28 years and the mother of his children Jody and Tina; Deloris McMillion. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Chasidy Kimmel in 2012.
Funeral services for Carl will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be John Brauning, Ray Colburn, Gerald Pickett, Brett Streller and Leroy Vandever. Honorary bearers will be Adam Baker, Ralph Adams and Dr. Wilson, DVM.
Following the service, please join the family at the Iron Head Saloon located at 12218 NS 3520 Seminole, Ok 74868, to enjoy a barbecue dinner catered by Hog's Barbecue in honor of Carl.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
