Calvin Roy Wagoner

Calvin Roy Wagoner, age seventy-seven and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.  Burial will follow at a later date in Konawa Cemetery.  Rev. Ed George will officiate.  Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons, Taylor Snodgrass, Lance Snodgrass, Kenny Snodgrass, Calvin Lamb, Randell Fixico, Seth Boyd, and Jamie Wilson. Calvin was born on February 25, 1934 in Konawa to Alice (Carr) and Buster Wagoner.  He married Jerri (Campbell) on September 21, 1992 at the Church of Christ in Konawa.  He was a contract pumper and a high-line electrician, and he worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City.  He was in the Army and National Guard for fourteen years, and he was a member of the NRA and a member of the Assembly of God Church of Konawa. He is survived by his wife, Jerri Wagoner of the home; one son, Dennis Lamb of Konawa; twelve grandchildren, Amber Wilson, Ashley Lamb, Taylor Snodgrass, Lance Snodgrass, Kenny Snodgrass, Alana Snodgrass, Randell Fixico, Lauren Fixico, Sabrina McBroom, Samantha McBroom, Calvin Lamb, and Seth Boyd.
