Byron Lynn “Keg” Cole, age 57 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in a motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 3 just north of Seminole. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Asher Public School located on N. Division St. in Asher under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. The speaker will be Jack Thompson, and burial will follow at Vista Cemetery. Casket bearers are Joe Milburn, Larry Johnson, Jackie Cornish, Ronnie Odell, Tim Nail, Bobby Cole and Tanner Cole. Honorary bearers are Wyman Nail and Tim Odell. Keg was born December 28, 1960 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bobby Hugh Cole and Loretta M. (Roulston) Cole. He graduated from Asher High School and owned Byron Cole Trucking, LLC hauling sand and gravel. Keg also loved farming as much as he loved his trucking industry. He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Loretta Cole of Asher; two sons, Tanner and Bobby Cole, also both of Asher; one daughter, Rachael Cole of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Reagan Yahola; and a special friend, Carla Campbell of Konawa, Oklahoma.
