Brenda Ann White, 60, longtime Seminole County resident died, Monday, April 9, 2018 at her home in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Brenda was born August 22, 1957 in Bakersfield, California to Frank Jackson “Shorty” Gore and Margaret Ruth (Bryant) Gore. Brenda graduated from Seminole High School in 1976. Brenda worked in the healthcare field most all her life and was currently working at Wewoka Health Care Center in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She had also worked at Seminole Care & Rehabilitation Center and Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole for many years. Brenda loved spending time with her family, camping, riding motorcycles, gardening, hummingbirds and yard work. She married Michael Lynn White on September 14, 1974 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband; Michael White of the home in Bowlegs, Oklahoma, one daughter; Teally Ann White of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, two brothers; Frank Jackson Gore and his wife Donna of Bowlegs and John Franklin Gore and his wife Rita of Seminole, Oklahoma, seven sisters; Maggie Kilgore and her husband Richard of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Della Pitts and her husband Dwain Pitts of St. Louis, Oklahoma, Hazel Jackson and her husband Jim of Denison, Texas, Frances Monks and her husband Tommy of Bowlegs, Oklahoma , Katie Lee of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Eunice James and her husband Charles of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Margaret Jackson and her husband John of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, two grandchildren Matthew Kobe Hill and Tate Marcus Johnson and a great grandson Easton Kobe Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Ruth Henington, nieces Joanie Jean Mooney, LaRonda Lynn Pitts and Leah Dawn Hanson, nephews Michael Ryan Helt, Quinton Dwain Pitts, Jr., Joshua Joe McBroom, and Andrew Lynn McBroom. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, east of Seminole, Oklahoma. Pastor Charles James will officiate at the service. Casket bearers will be Matthew Kobe Hill, Tate Marcus Johnson, Jarrod Keith Reese, Teally Ann White, David Lozer and Dewayne Lozer. Honorary bearers will be Qualen Mariott, Kahaner Mariott, Boo Boo James, Easton Hill, Braden Miles, Rowdy Jenkins and Cassian Schmidt.
