Brenda Gentry

Brenda Carol (Davis) Gentry, 58 year old Earlsboro, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Southwest Integris Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born May 21, 1960 in Talihina, Oklahoma to parents Tom Davis and Hedy Mae (Tiger) Davis. Following high school Brenda went to beauty school and worked as a hairdresser for several years.  She was also a cooking enthusiast. Brenda married John Gentry on November 23, 1982 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, John Gentry of the home, one daughter Elizabeth “Nikki” Gentry of the home, one brother Charles Davis and his wife Cathy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one sister Cynthia Davis and one grandchild Jael Lynn Gentry.  She is also survived by a host of other family and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Hedy Mae Davis and by one brother, Abler Davis. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Sasakwa Davis Family Cemetery with Pastors Jim and Nita Moreland officiating the service. The family will be gathering in Swearingen Funeral Home’s northwest parking lot to leave at 1:20 p.m., following the Funeral Hearse to the Davis Family Cemetery in Sasakwa for the 2:00 p.m. service. Casket Bearers will be: John Gentry, Charles Davis, Travis Davis, Kenny Bowlegs, John Coon and Benji Gravette. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
