Bradley “Brad” Clyde Hendryx, lifetime Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in Seminole, at the age of 46. Brad was born on August 26, 1976 in Seminole to Jeff Hendryx and Gayla (Fowler) Hendryx.
Brad loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He liked Friday night Seminole football games. He loved the oilfield and enjoyed working at Mills Well Service as a Rig Operator, especially getting to work with his son, Steven. Brad also enjoyed weightlifting, rodeo and watching monster trucks with the grandkids.
Brad is survived by his son, Steven Hendryx; daughters, Haley Smith and husband, Trevor of Seminole, Mariah Johnson and Kay Kendrick and husband, Kyron of Seminole; bonus kids, Wade Giulietti and Tyesha Wills; six grandchildren, Elijah “Buggie” Smith, Ian “Johnny” Smith, Owen “Doughboy” Smith, Rylah Johnson, Luke Johnson and Samuel Johnson; son-in-law, Corey Johnson; brother-in-law, Josh McCutcheon; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Gayla Hendryx; father, Jeffery Hendryx; sister, Shelly McCutcheon; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Dixie Fowler and paternal grandparents, Ed and Imogene Hendryx.
Viewing will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
The Celebration of Brad’s life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole with Rev. Jimmy Moreland officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
