Brad Eugene Mulkey

Seminole resident, Bradley Eugene “Brad” Mulkey, passed away, Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 74. 

Brad, the son of Gene and Nadine (Clark) Mulkey, was born July 7, 1950, in Seminole. As a baby, Brad’s mother passed away, as a young boy, Jeanette became his mom. He graduated high school with the Seminole High School class of 1968. In the 1980’s, Brad moved to Blanchard where he would stay until moving back to Seminole in 2023. He spent many years in the auto repair business, working as the service manager at several different auto dealerships. On October 15, 2015, Brad married Carol Houseman, in Blanchard. Brad enjoyed fishing, watching OU football, tinkering with automobiles, playing and watching golf, having bar b ques and playing with his dogs, but nothing was as important to Brad than spending time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nadine and Gene Mulkey. 

Brad is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home; children, Steve Mulkey, of Albuquerque, NM, Jill Northington, of Norman, OK, Tim Houseman and April, of Florida, Lance Northington and Katharine, of Norman, OK, Casey Houseman, of Norman, OK, and Kyle Mulkey and Katie, of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren, Macy Hodges, and Keaton, Taylon Northington, Jorga Houseman, Scarlette Houseman, Conner Northington, Brailey Houseman, Hudson Sadberry, and McKenzie Mulkey; great grandchildren, Jayden Hodges and Liam Hodges; along with many other family members and friends. 

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
