Booker T. Winrow, 77 year-old lifelong Pottawatomie and Seminole County resident passed from this life Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Unity North Hospital in Shawnee. He was born March 20, 1932 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to parents Jackson Williams Winrow and Beulah (Curruthers) Winrow.rnrnHe attended school in Earlsboro, Oklahoma and later married Pauline Hinex on May 15, 1953.rnrnBooker worked for Ronnie Allison Trucking Company in Seminole where he was a truck driver and crane operator.rnrnBooker is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline (Hinex) Winrow of the home in Shawnee, Oklahoma; his mother, Beulah M. Winrow of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; five sons, Ricky D. Winrow, Billy J. Winrow, Dean Winrow, Dennis Winrow and Bobby Black all of Shawnee, Oklahoma; eight daughters, Oleatha Armstead of OKC, Pricilla Phillips of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Carolyn Winrow of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Collen Sanders of Tennessee, Brenda Cooper of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Angela Ward of Del-City, Oklahoma, Shirley Honeycutt of Tennessee and Debbie Winrow of Midwest City, Oklahoma; one brother, Roy Winrow of Seminole, Oklahoma; four sisters, Erma Jean Bigalow of Seminole, Oklahoma, Eunice Edwards of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lorene Ryan of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Katheline Hicks of Oklahoma; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnBooker is preceded in death by his father, Jackson Winrow; one brother, Thurman Winrow; two sisters, Opal Booker and Barbara J. Winrow.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Galilee Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
