Benita Louisa ?Bonnie? Atkinson, 80 year-old longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Monday, December 22, 2008 at her home. She was born April 17, 1928 in Camden, New Jersey to parents Benjamin Brey and Bertha (Rupp) Brey.rnrnBonnie married Joseph Richard Atkinson in 1959 in Georgia and he preceded her in death on August 22. 1983.rnrnBonnie was wife of a military retiree and a mother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church and of the Elks Lodge. She moved to Seminole 43 years ago from Pensacola, Florida.rnrnSurvivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry & Terry Atkinson of Seminole, Oklahoma, Steven & Sharon Strippoli of Fairfax, Virginia, Allen Strippoli of Tennessee; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa & Guss Wolfe of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, John Bill Atkinson of Nicoma, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Danielle Atkinson & Damon Atkinson both of Seminole, Oklahoma, Melissa, John, Joseph, Jennifer & Jessica Wolfe all of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Christopher & Michael Strippoli of Tennesse, and Scott & Steven Strippoli of Fairfax, Virginia.
