Bobby Wayne Timmons, 71, longtime Seminole resident died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Bobby was born May 15, 1940 in Connerville, Oklahoma to Lloyd James and Minnie Ruth (Cobble) Timmons. Bobby worked at Big Yank Manufacturing and retired in 1980. He was a member of the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Bobby was married to Lucille Timmons on January 20, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on February 11, 2010. Bobby is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law; James and Melinda Timmons of Seminole, Oklahoma, Rickey Timmons of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Daniel and Dana Timmons of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Ronnie and Mindy Timmons of Seminole, Oklahoma. One daughter Pamela Jordan, one brother Phil Timmons of Arlington, Texas and three sisters, Christine Easley of Raytown, Missouri, Nell Spencer and LaTricia Houck both of Seminole, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren Tommy Timmons, James Timmons, Jr., Nicole Jordan, MaCayla Timmons, Rachael Timmons and Faith Timmons also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucille, a sister Joyce, brother Gerald and a grandson Brian Jordan. Funeral services are set for 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating.
