Bobby Morrison

Bobby Jack Morrison, 79, Konawa resident, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at his home. Bobby was born June 5, 1938 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Joseph Ervan Morrison and Lucy (Kane) Morrison. Bobby graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1956; he later attended Murray State College and Okmulgee Tech School. He loved fishing, brush hogging, lawn mowing and was a member of the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Bobby was a draftsman and surveyor for Conoco, Inc. in Ponca City, Oklahoma for 38 years before his retirement. Bobby married Betty (Ladd) Morrison on February 20, 1960 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Bobby is survived by is his loving wife of 58 years Betty Morrison of the home in rural Konawa, Oklahoma, his son Joe Morrison and his wife Jennifer of Ponca City, Oklahoma, his daughter Donna Glasscock and her husband Alan of Konawa, Oklahoma, his grandchildren Sara Anderson and her husband Stan of Ada, Oklahoma, Josh Glasscock and his wife Reana of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Daniel Morrison of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Bobbi Park and her husband Corey of Claremore, Oklahoma, Shannon Morrison of Claremore, Oklahoma, Chris Smith of Ponca City, Oklahoma, great grandchildren Brooke, Easton, Emerie, Hayden, Addison, Kennedi, Lincoln, Eli, Emma, Alizabelle, Anakin, Charlie, his niece Theresa Plunkett and her husband Chuck of Seminole, Oklahoma, and a nephew Gary Mainord and his wife Sandra of Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs, Oklahoma with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Vamoosa Cemetery of highway 99 south of Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
