Bobby Gene Heiskill, 83, Seminole resident died, Monday, August 25, 2014 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Bobby was born June 3, 1931 in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Rosa A. (Bentley) and Robert E. Heiskill. Bobby lived in Okemah, Oklahoma for most of his life before moving to Seminole 20 years ago. While in Okemah, Bobby owned and operated his construction business and oilfield service for many years. He was a former mayor of Okemah, Oklahoma and a member of the Jaycees in Okemah. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Little, Oklahoma. Bobby is survived by his daughter Nancy Adams of Yukon, Oklahoma and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Georgia “Dot” Heiskill who died July 30, 2008. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Church of Christ in Little, Oklahoma with Rusty Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Schoolton Cemetery North West of Cromwell, Oklahoma. Schoolton Cemetery is located 1 ½ miles north of Cromwell exit on I-40, turn west off highway 56 and go 1 mile.
