Bobby Ray Harrison

Bobby Ray Harrison, age 81 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away, Friday, September 29, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017, at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Rev. Ed Bray will officiate.  Casket bearers are Curtis Ligon, Leo Kuestersteffen, Tony Kuestersteffen, Jim Sharp, Dale Jesse, Billy Jack Sharber, and Darrell Mackey.  Honorary bearers are Tanner Capps, William Capps, Isaiah Underwood, Cooper McKeel, Daxton Elliott, and Deaton Elliott. Bob was born February 24, 1936 in Yeager, Oklahoma to Grady Harrison and Eurple (Anthony) Harrison.  He graduated from Yeager High School and worked as the Office Manager /Field Operations for Enogex.  He married Alice Kate Kuestersteffen September 23, 1980 in Ada, Oklahoma.  He loved roping and taking care of his cattle. He is survived by his wife, Alice Harrison of the home; one son, Carl Capps and wife, Sheila of Konawa; four daughters, Sheri McKeel and husband, Justin of Konawa, Bobbette Harrison, Susan Harrison, and Berneda Capps of Konawa; one sister, Mona Hardwick of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, Amanda Capps, Lyndsay Elliott, Courtney Capps, Tanner Capps, William Capps, Carli Capps,and Cooper McKeel; and three great grandchildren, Daxton Elliott, Isaiah Underwood, and Deaton Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Eurple Harrison; one son, Billy Capps; and one sister, Retha Harrison.
