Bobby Dean Ford

Bobby Dean Ford, Prague resident, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 77.  Bobby was born on October 10, 1945 in Tahlequah, OK to Louis Ford and Betty (Wasson) Ford.

Bobby loved fishing, spending time with family and enjoying his appreciation of food.  Two of his favorite foods were Georgette’s salmon patties and biscuits and country gravy from Prague Bakery made special by all the family memories drawn from sharing those foods.  Bobby was a very honest person who never met a stranger.  He was known to always have a story.  He is lovingly remembered for the fact that he was never wrong no matter the subject.  His straight forward and to the point character was treasured.  Bobby had a huge heart and he would light up when his kids and grandkids entered a room.  It was said he lived a life of 10 men and was kind and simple at the same time.  He was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Georgette Ford of Prague; step-daughters, Terri Henthorn and husband, Danny of Prague and Tara Hurst; step-brothers, Jack, Joe and Robert; step-sisters, Sue, Barbara and Tonya; grandchildren, Shadoe Himle and wife, Mariah, Donald Clark and wife, Devan Conley, Brooklin Lister, Chandler Smith and wife, Cailey Zornes, Hunter Smith, Marcie Mitchell and husband, Bobby, Brian Mosley and wife, Jessica, Blake Baker and wife, Diedre, Beau Baker and wife, Nicole, Lindsey Blumenauer and Leslie Blumenauer; great grandchildren, Braylenn, Bobby, Bryleigh, Berkeley, Madelynn, Emma, Erynn, Kyler, Harry, Everleigh, Wilder, Paisley, Kailey, Kinsey, Savannah, Bobby, Gracie, Annie and Addison; and many other family and friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Ann (Gregory) Ford; daughter, Jamie Smith; step-daughter, Traci Blumenauer; step-son, Mike Baker.

Bobby’s graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Prague Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma.
