Bobbie Sue (Hester) Postman

Bobbie Sue (Hester) Postman, 84 year old Saint Louis, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 10, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Ben Cherry and Cora (Hester) Henderson. Bobbie attended Red Mound Public School near Strother in Seminole County, Oklahoma.  She was a homemaker and was a very active member at Saint Louis First Baptist Church. Bobbie leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Judy Lawson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Janet Snodgrass of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sons, Steve Rich and his wife Samaria of Little, Oklahoma, Mark Rich of Maud, Oklahoma; one step-son, Rick Postman and his wife Donna of Saint Louis, Oklahoma; three step-daughters, Sharron McDonald of Norman, Oklahoma, Paula Bowers and her husband Curtis of Maud, Oklahoma, Terry Peters of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three sisters, Verda Simmons of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Barbara Taylor of Seminole, Oklahoma, Martha Ropp of LaMont, Oklahoma; three brothers Frank Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jackie Smith of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Clarence Smith of Konawa, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a number of great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and many dear friends. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of almost 25 years, Paul Postman who died March 24, 2017.  She was also preceded in death by one daughter Sharlett Larney, by one granddaughter Kelli Larney, by two sons-in-law Jack "Little Jack" Snodgrass and Allen Lawson who died April 23, 2018.  Bobbie is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at Saint Louis First Baptist Church located on Hwy. 59 in Saint Louis, Oklahoma.  Pastor Brandon Leslie and Bro. Glen Peck will officiate the service.  Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
