Bob Gregg, long time St. Louis, Oklahoma resident passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at his home at the age of 66. Bob was born December 31, 1943 in Wanette, Oklahoma to parents Roy Vernon and Thelma (Matthews) Gregg. Bob attended school at Asher Public School system, served in the United States Army and a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Louis, Oklahoma. On May 5, 1962 Bob married Linda Sharber and together they owned and operated “Gregg’s Gas Station” there in St. Louis since the early 1970's. Bob is survived by two sons: Robert Don and his wife Brandy Gregg of St. Louis and David Roy Gregg also of St. Louis, Oklahoma. Brother, Jimmy Gregg of Asher, Oklahoma and sisters, Leota and her husband Doyle Rawls of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sue and husband Jack Thompson of Asher, Oklahoma and Fay and husband Jim McManus of LasVegas, Nevada.. Bob is also survived by brother-in-law, Al Flynn of Mead, Oklahoma and three grandchildren Courtney, Ryan and Derrick Gregg. Bob was preceded in death by: parents, Roy and Thelma Gregg, sister, Kay Flynn and sister-in-law Debbie Gregg. Funeral Service for Bob is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at First Baptist Church of St. Louis, Oklahoma with Rev. Glenn Peck officiating, burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery, Wanette, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Robert Fellows, Mike Huff, Nobbie Lowden, Robert Lowden, Greg Beverage, Bruce Floyd and all nephews will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be held at Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud, Oklahoma. Sunday, August 2, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..
