Billy Harold “Bill” Presley, Sr.,  82, longtime Maud, Oklahoma resident, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Maud, Oklahoma. Bill was born July 24, 1936 in Letha, Oklahoma, south of Seminole, Oklahoma to May ( M.P.)  Presley and Lena Gracie Presley. Bill worked for Unit Operations in Maud, Oklahoma before moving to Walters, Oklahoma to start his oilfield pumper career with Sun-Ray DX and after 30 years he retired with Sun Oil Co. After his retirement from the oilfield, he worked 18 years for District # 3 of Pottawatomie County. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching videos of their sports and other activities. Bill had a lifelong passion for baseball, from coaching little league baseball and starting leagues while living in Walters, Oklahoma to being a huge fan of the Texas Rangers Baseball team, and watching other teams on TV when the Rangers were not playing. He also loved watching the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and the Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball Team. Bill loved to fish, bird hunt, his bird dogs, horses, his musical instruments that he enjoyed playing, traveling, going to Branson, Missouri, Eureka Springs, Arkansas, watching western movies. Bill was a longtime member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma and the Maud Rodeo Club, he served 8 years on the Maud Public School Board and enjoyed all school activities. He married Carol Jeanene ( Strickland ) Presley on December 19, 1953 in Saint Louis, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on December 6, 2000. He later married Norma Joan (Johnson) Roundtree Presley on April 22, 2017 in Maud, Oklahoma and she survives him of the home in Maud. Bill is survived by his wife Norma Joan Presley of Maud, Oklahoma, his children; Gary Presley  and his wife Shelley of Healdton, Oklahoma, Billy Presley and his wife Pam of Maud, Oklahoma and Carla Long and her husband Tony of Dale, Oklahoma, his sisters Barbara Fletcher of Maud, Oklahoma and Linda Schaflander and Louis of Seminole, Oklahoma, his grandchildren Scott and Destiny Presley, Cara and TJ Baden, Chad and Paula Presley, Meredith and Dustin Turpin, and his great grandchildren; Cade, Ivy, Cheyanne, Charlsie, Haley, Cadey, Blake, Alayna, Gage, Gavin, Gracyn and Gideon, one great greatgrandchild, Stella, his step sons; Mike Thornton and his wife Teresa and Rich Thornton and his wife Melissa, Step daughter, Vicki O’Shell and her husband Ron, 8 step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren , several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jeanene, a sister Norma Presley and grandson Mason Garrett Presley. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma with Rev. Butch Bradley officiating. Casket Bearers will be Chad Presley, Scott Presley, Dustin Turpin, Cade Turpin, Blake Presley, TJ Baden, Tanner Silas, Cary  Fletcher and Joel Fletcher. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Trinity Baptist Church, Maud, Oklahoma  Falls Creek Fund. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral Information: August 1, 2018, 11:00 AM
