Billy Max Pace, age 80 and long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, May 28th at his residence in Claremore, Oklahoma. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3rd at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa and with Rev. Mitch Williams officiating. Billy was born on March 11, 1929, to Johnny Pace and Hattie Mae (Millsap) Summers in Maud, Oklahoma. He married Christine Hill in November, 1950, in Leesville, Louisiana. He was the Manager for McDonald Douglas Aircraft. He graduated from Konawa High School in 1949. Billy was also an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Christine Pace, of the home; two sons, Thomas Dow Pace and Robert Leo Pace, both of Claremore, Oklahoma; one daughter, Debra S. Foster of Claremore, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Dan Foster, Mallory Pace, and Robert Quinn Pace.
