Billy Carl Davis

Billy Carl Davis, age 64 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and a family memorial will be planned at a later date. Billy was born on June 9, 1951 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to Clyde Davis and Pauline Level (Ridge) Davis.  He graduated from high school in Des Arc, Arkansas, and worked for many years as an airplane mechanic for the Air Force.  He later moved to Konawa and had recently moved to the Ada Retirement and Care Center. Billy is survived by one son, William Davis and one daughter, Misty Davis, both from Arkansas; three sisters, Mary Bustamante of Konawa, Oklahoma, Ann Bush of Ada, Oklahoma, and Gracie Turner of Lone Oak, Arkansas; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Pauline Davis; two sisters, Delorise Hickman and Jimmie Young; and one brother, Fred Davis.
