Billy Lee Cagle, 87, longtime Seminole resident, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Billy was born on May 2, 1929 in Marble City, Oklahoma to Anon Lee Cagle and Ruby (Rape) Cagle. Billy came to Seminole in 1950 from Marble City, Oklahoma. Billy work for Thompson Pumps in Seminole, Oklahoma for over 42 years as a oilfield pump serviceman, and at end of his career was the Manager of the local office. Billy served in Northern China during World War II, in the United States Marine Corp, where he attained the rank of Sergeant.   Billy loved to go fishing and hunting. He traveled to Colorado every year to go fishing and hunting as well as  many other places. Billy loved to tell stories on things he had seen and done, especially war stories. He married Bonnie (Arthur) Cagle on June 21, 1952 in Sebastian, Arkansas. Billy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie Cagle of Seminole, Oklahoma, one sister Linda Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a cousin Frank Hixson and his niece Judy Bussey, a special caregiver Donna Weaver and a host of close friends and neighbors. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 17, 2016 at Little Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
