Billie Jane Parum

Seminole resident Billie Jane Parum passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 51. She was born on April 25, 1958 in Odessa, Texas to Billy Reed and Julia “Judy” Ellen Carter Parum. She was a homemaker and a retailer at Walgreen’s for many years. She leaves to cherish her memories her spouse David Swearengin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her parents, Billy Reed Parum and wife Doris of Hobbs, New Mexico and Judy Ellen Carter of Cushing, Oklahoma, grandmother, Marjorie Carter of Seminole. She is also survived by one brother, Ronald Reed Parum of Cushing and one sister, Julie Ellaine Parum of Seminole, two nieces; Tonya Friend and her husband Jason and Kristal McCoy and husband Roy, nephew, Michael Cates, great nephews, Ashtun Al-Mufleh and Stony McCoy and great niece Renee’ Friend.  She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; James Mark Carter and her paternal grandparents; Simon Reed and Faye Parum. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Little Cemetery with Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Little, Oklahoma.
