Bill Shirey

Bill Gene Shirey, Sr. passed away on May 6, 2010 at the age of 75.  He was born on January 13, 1935 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Harvey Lee Shirey and Jewel (Turner) Shirey. He married Betty June (Byford) Shirey November 22, 1954.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Sherwood Company for many years before retiring. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Betty June Shirey of Seminole, two sons; Glenn Shirey of Norman, Oklahoma and Bill Shirey, Jr. of McKinney, Texas, two sister, Donna Holt and Harlene Wise of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Carolyn Jean Clark.
