William Hugh "Bill" Kepler, 75 year-old, longtime Seminole resident and painter passed from this life Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born April 2, 1932 in Galena, Missouri to parents Hugh William Kepler and Loccie Leona (Liles) Kepler. Kepler moved with his parents as a child to Seminole, Oklahoma and lived there most of his life.rnrnMr. Kepler married Donna Self on December 18, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on May 8, 1999. Kepler was a long-time member of the Trinity Baptist Church and was also a member of the Baptist Men?s Association and God?s Antiques of Georgia.rnrnBill was a wonderful man who loved his family dearly; he would give you the shirt off his back and he believed in hard work. He was a Godly man and a very grateful man for the things the Lord has given he and his family. He will be greatly missed. There wasn?t a day that went by, that he didn?t pray for his family.rnrnSurvivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Allen Broadie of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Judy and Dennis Clagg of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one son Billy Kepler of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnOther survivors include four sisters; Mary Edith Burton of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Wanda Springwater of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Naomi House of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Linda Davis of Shawnee, Oklahoma. One brother, John Earl Kepler of Cushing, Oklahoma, two sisters-in-law, Sue Sims of Seminole, Oklahoma and Lora Beach of Maud, Oklahoma and one brother-in-law, Bert Springwater of Shawnee, Oklahoma, also survive.rnrnAlso surviving are his grandchildren: Ryan, Lee, Elisha, Zac, David, Lori, Leigh Broadie, Donald Clagg and Tammy Cody. Great grandchildren: Chloe, Joseph and Delaney Broadie, Lydia, Daylon, Paige and Alexis Clagg. Mr. Kepler is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews, family and dear friends.rnrnKepler is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna Kepler (May 8, 1999), Sister Helen Springwater and three brothers Oscar, Leonard and J.L. KeplerrnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
