Beverly Kay (Barnhart) Douglas , age 71 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away April 14, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at Holdenville Lake at noon on Saturday, June 8th, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.
Beverly was born November 14, 1952 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Cecil Barnhart and Jewel (Richardson) Barnhart. She graduated from Holdenville High School, and she became a Certified Nurse’s Aide. Beverly was a member of Indian Mission Pentecostal Holiness Church of Konawa. She loved to Read books and to go camping. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she loved her animals too.
She is survived by two daughters, Leslie Blevins and husband, Greg of Konawa, and Amy Hayes and husband, Jamie of Burlington, Colorado; ten grandchildren, April and Jeff Ford, Hailey Key, Bridget and Matt Darby, Cody Key, Devon Key, Maddy Key, Bailey and Steven Holt, Sarah and Justin Coleman, John and Amber Hayes, and Nicole Hayes; and thirty great grandchildren, (Hunter, Tyler, and Bentley Coleman) (Cyan, Robert, Elsa, Hilde, and James Ford) (Tray, and Jacee Key) (Shakotah, Bradon, John, Logan, Gus, Connor, and Kolter Darby) (Hunter, Hayden, Ryleigh, Harley, Remington, and Ruger Key) (Buck, Brantley, and Braylee) and (Bella, and Ryder Key) (Bobo, and Little Pearl Holt); and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
