Beulah Arvy Grace, 101, Seminole resident went to be with her Lord, Monday, October 1, 2012 at her home in Seminole. Beulah was born December 2, 1910 in Seminole County, to John D. and Mary (DeWeese) Tigner. Beulah was a homemaker. She came back to live in Seminole in 1995 after living in Ada, Oklahoma for 48 years. While in Ada she was a very active member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Latta, Oklahoma where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers of Latta and a “Pink Lady” volunteer at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was current a member of the First United Methodist Church in Seminole. Beulah married Calvin Grace on November 19, 1930 in Guthrie, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death 2003. Beulah is survived by two nieces who where her primary caregivers, Annette Myrick and Johnnie Collins both of Seminole, Oklahoma and a host of other Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters Martha Estas Stubbs,and Luna Tigner, three brothers, Elvin Tigner, Charlie Tigner, and J.D. Tigner, two nieces Ethelda Brinker and Inez Ridings and two nephews, Dick Stubbs and David Tigner. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole, with Rev. Gary O. Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers are: Deairl Myrick, Jeffrey Hines, J.N. Stubbs, George Stubbs, Hilton Stubbs and Johnny Tigner. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
