Betty Lee Sample, 73 Betty Lee Sample, an Earlsboro, Oklahoma resident, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 73. Betty was born March 16, 1943 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to parents, Frank William Johnson and Dolly Mae (Hamilton) Johnson. Betty graduated from Earlsboro High School in 1960. She was a homemaker and was of the Jehovah Witness faith. Betty married James Sample in June of 1968 at Guthrie, Oklahoma. Betty is survived by her husband, James Sample of the home; two sons, Zachary Williams of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Reginald Williams of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; two daughters, Kathleen (Williams) Adams of Dallas, Texas, Vallorie (Sample) Getachew of Seminole, Oklahoma; two brothers Frank Johnson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Emmanuel Johnson of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; one sister, Francis Jean Norman of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Catrena Jones, Demissie Getachew and Megan Getachew. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dolly Johnson; one brother, Willard Bernard Johnson and Barbara Ann Warrior. A Memorial Service is planned for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness which is located at 1700 Slover Street, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
