Betty June Marshall, 92 Betty June Marshall, long time Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Betty was born March 19, 1926 in Altus, Oklahoma to parents, M. H. White and Gladys Ione (Martin) White. Betty lived a very fulfilling life. She attended OU writing school and Baylor University. She married United States Air Force Col. George C. Marshall in Altus, Oklahoma on March 17, 1946. Betty and her family became world travelers before retirement.   Betty was a professional fiction and non-fiction writer. In the early 60’s, she had a novel titled “Never Let Me Go” published, along with dozens of adventure stories in Twelve-Fifteen Magazine and the Saturday Evening Post. Betty is survived by one son, George Mark Marshall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Patricia Elaine Marshall of Seminole, Oklahoma; one sister, Jeanette White Ford of Boulder, Colorado and two grandchildren.
