Bettie L. (Brasher) Chilcoat

Bettie L. (Brasher) Chilcoat, age 91, former longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away March 5, 2020 in Meeker, Oklahoma. She was born November 28, 1929 in Seminole to parents Steve Collins Brasher and Stella Mae (Gates) Brasher. Bettie graduated from Seminole High School. Bettie worked as a telephone operator for 12 years at Southwestern Bell. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Bettie is survived by her daughter; Gail Dawn Jones of Harrah, Oklahoma, grandsons; Matthew Tyler Grimes and Brad Lee Jones and great grandchildren; Jaxon Grimes and Harley Grimes. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Ocie (J.O.) Chilcoat who passed away July 15, 2007, sisters; Shirley Dorsett and Lois Worthington and grandson; Jimmy Grimes.
