Beth Myrick

Beth Myrick, 50 year old longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  Beth was born May 22, 1967 in Prague, Oklahoma to parents Deairl Myrick and Annette (Stubbs) Myrick. Beth graduated from Seminole High School in 1985 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 1989.  She had taught at Holdenville and Wewoka, Oklahoma public schools and later worked as a freelance book editor. One of Beth’s greatest qualities was her love of family.  She dedicated herself to caring for her loving daughter Kendra Rane Myrick-Stubbs.  Beth had also played a big role in caring for her dad, Deairl Myrick during his illness, and sadly passed from this life on August 9, 2017, just seven days before Beth died of natural causes. Beth leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Annette Myrick of Seminole, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kendra Rane Myrick-Stubbs of the home; one step-daughter, Britney Huddleston of Mustang, Oklahoma; one sister, Monica Pack and her husband Dale of Norman, Oklahoma; two nieces, Courtney Pack and Paige Pack both of Norman, Oklahoma; one step grandson, Tyler Huddleston; and a host of other family and dear friends. Beth is preceded in death by her father, Deairl Myrick whom she followed to Heaven, and by her former husband and the father of her daughter Kendra, Robert Stubbs. Per Beth’s wishes, cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. A private family service will be held at a later date.
